You can look the whole world over, but there’s no place on earth like Mt. Juliet...and it keeps getting better! The question is “what will Mt. Juliet look like a year from now?" It’s time for the Mt. Juliet Minute!
If all goes as planned, several new businesses will be opening soon in Mt. Juliet, bringing hundreds of new jobs with them! Here is a brief overview of what we hope to see in 2018:
-At Home, the home decor superstore, is one of my favorites and hopes to open this year near Academy Sports.
-Just up the street, closer to Culver’s, IHOP plans to open a new store.
-Southern Bank of Tennessee is well under way with a very attractive building located in front of Mt. Juliet Christian Academy.
-Construction of Jason’s Deli is moving along very quickly! It looks to me like they may be open by June.
-Construction is also underway converting the old Gander Mountain location into a Hobby Lobby!
-PDK Southern Kitchen and Pantry plans to open near Burger Republic and will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s a fast casual dining concept created by the owners of Demos Restaurants.
-Next to PDK, Your Pie, a great place for handcrafted pizza, plans to open!
There are many other businesses looking at Mt. Juliet (and I’m wondering about Amazon), but I’m out of time, so this concludes this Mt Juliet Minute!
